Do the mushroom shortcut without a mushroom: drift out wide into the coin for alignment, charge jump onto the pillar, then land and trick off the platform onto the main road. A big time save that becomes simple once the line is memorized.

After the first mushroom cut, charge jump onto the railing, hop to the second rail, right trick off it and shroom on the landing - the best use of two mushrooms on this section. Everything can also be improvised with a feather.

Instead of shrooming the last turn, drift wide for a super mini-turbo, release it at the faint shadow, do a huge boosted charge jump, wall ride the cliff and clear the boxes. Punishing to fail but very consistent once learned.
