Most of the track's mushroom off-road cuts can be feathered instead: drift wide, go tight, release the mini-turbo and feather across. Beware the second-to-last one, where going slightly tight is out of bounds.

Start really wide, curve in and mini turbo trick to cut the opening turn; not too hard once aligned but you can easily get bumped, so it is mainly for the intermission toward DK Spaceport.

Instead of going around to the ramp, steer right early, trick off the two bolts and right air trick back onto the platform for a small gap jump.
