Massive opening mushroom cut onto the rails
Drift into the off-road outside the torch, shroom, trick off the grass bump onto the rail, then chain onto a second rail with a left trick before returning to the road - the most important shortcut on the track. If the grass-bump trick scares you, take the turn wider and release a super mini-turbo into the rail instead.
Ring-and-wall charge jump shortcut
Take the final off-road cut with no items: boosted trick off the ledge, trick off the big ring, wall ride the X-angled indent, jump off with a super mini-turbo, trick off the leaves and deliberately crash into the box face to cancel your boost for a clean re-entry. Great for front running when you cannot pull mushrooms.
Railing-to-pole section routes
The fastest route through the next section is the railing into a trick onto the pole; if the rail is too risky, take the cloud and trick right onto the same pole, or use the main road below when you need coins.
